Long grey bill, yellowy short legs. Dark flanks and chest—no obvious barring—pale underside. Also, long pale thin eyebrow. Watched bird fly between shoreline rocks. Photo."

- Comments: "Female, perched on fence line next to multiple White-crowned Sparrows. Similar in size to WCSPs, but shorter-tailed and stockier, with heavy, conical, silvery-blue bill; finely streaked on breast, but with streaks coalesced into a central stickpin; more boldly dark streaked on flanks; otherwise white below and gray-brown above, with bold white panel along leading edge of folded wing; rather muted face pattern, with white eye ring and supercilium, gray-brown auricular outlined darker at border, broad white submustachial framed below by dark malar. Photos to follow."
