Thanks James. I also learned something about “NewsBreak”. It truly is (as alleged) a “scummy” organization. Today was my first interaction with their platform from an interrogative perspective. I questioned the authenticity of the article and the integrity of the author. When I went online to see how many others aligned with my position, the count was zero. When my wife went on using her login…my comment was nowhere to be found. It had made visible to me but no one else! Come to find out others have had the same issue with NewsBreak. We have both removed the app and unsubscribed from all their messaging services.

It appears this article has been posted on the site for every state in the US, with just the state name changed.

Maybe the author ”Marcus Barnes” thought this was April first. In trying to dig deeper I can’t find any more information about this supposed “New Law”.

Apparently this just became a law. Maybe we take up a collection for the legal defense of the first Michigan resident cited for leaving their acorns unattended.
