Subject: CANCELED-ASCA Stuttgart Airport field trip Reminder, the ASCA field trip to the Stuttgart Airport this Saturday February 22 is CANCELED. Due to most of the state getting significant amounts of rain, sleet, and snow Tuesday, the fields will still be very muddy, frozen, and snow-covered Saturday. My yard and driveway still has a lot of snow. Temperatures at Stuttgart are forecast to drop to 20 degrees tonight, reaching a high of only 41 degrees by Saturday afternoon, plus cloudy. Not conducive for finding birds. Not great for birders either. Please let your birding friends know and ask them to pass along the message that field trip has been CANCELED.
