A message from Southampton Town at 1:30pm today - “Ponquogue Bridge is Closed Until Further Notice”. A follow-up message at 2:50pm: NYS DOT, during a routine inspection on 20 Feb, identified conditions that have resulted in closing the bridge in both directions. Quogue (Post Lane) and both Westhampton Beach bridges are open to traffic, but may have more traffic.
