Presently I show that 25 of the listed hot spots for last week were visited, some multiple times and checklists submitted. Some exciting activity has taken place this past week. Ruslan Balagansky contacted me and showed me a way that he developed which totally automated the preparation of the weekly list of Hot spots by querying the eBird database. Something I was not aware could be done. While this makes my life simpler, the second part is he put together a process which takes the list and prepares a map showing the Hot Spots for the week. See the link below. This is something I think all of you will find very valuable. I just tried the link on my iPhone and when I click on a hot spot it will show directions on how to get to the Hot Spot. I assume it will work the same on Android phones, but I don’t know. Hopefully you will try this out.
