Subject: [sbcobirding] Mission Creek outfall, 2/18
A female Vermillion Flycatcher was seen where runoff drains on to the beach east of the Mission Creek outfall. Five gull species included Short-Billed. An Osprey disturbed the group several times that included Black Skimmers and Elegant Terns along with the gulls. Two Black Turnstone at the end of the harbor breakwater and a male Hooded Merganser seen from the entrance to the bird refuge were the only other birds of note I encountered this morning.

That's all,
Rob Lindsay
