Cindy Franklin and I birded the Little Rock Port Authority today Monday. Our goal was to add the Sandhills Cranes and other species to the GBBC. We drove that area and were pleased to find 18 Sandhills in the levee area south of the airport! There are also a lot of good mix of species in that area. We submitted a eBird checklist that includes the location of the Sandhills. Good luck if you look for them. They are a little challenging to spot them so slow down and take time to look for them out in the fields. Karen Holliday and Cindy Franklin Pulaski County
