Hi All,
Harris Lake and Mudflats in Gwinnett County has been made an official eBird sanctioned, and now live, hotspot called:
Channings/Harris Lake (Private, No Trespassing)
This site is hosting an American Black Duck and Long-tailed Duck currently still I think, Gwinnett’s 3rd record Greater White-fronted Geese very recently as well, but also hosted Gwinnett’s 2nd record White-rumped Sandpipers last year.
As usual just observe from the driveway well outside of the gated No Trespassing fence.
Please merge all of your previous Harris Lake related locations and checklists into this new hotspot at your earliest convenience as possible!
We certainly encourage using GABO-L to pass hotspot, and other, information such as this to the greater Georgia birding community!
Thanks and Good Birding All,
Mark
