The weather was so iffy this morning that I did not get a particularly early start to go try to see the Red-throated Loon near Carroll. Apparently it was seen early this morning, but by the time I got there around 11 the wind was blowing hard and spitting snow, and there were only Canada geese on the pond.
One of the homeowners nearby, Michelle, will post on eBird if she sees it again. So bizarre that a Red-throated loon would show up at a little pond in the middle of nowhere.
