Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] You're Invited! SDFO Open Meeting next Tuesday, 6pm
Hello birders and happy rainy day!

We'd like to invite everyone to attend an open upcoming Zoom presentation of the San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO).  Anyone with an interest in birds and birding is welcome and encouraged to attend!  This month's meeting is next Tuesday, February 18th, at 6 p.m. and will be a presentation by our president, Rick Grove, on the next rare birds most likely to make their first appearance in San Diego County.  It should be fun!  If you would like to add your prediction to Rick's survey, please email him at <rpgrove...> [for website users, that's rpgrove @ gmail . com - remove the spaces!]

So, if you're not currently an SDFO member and would like to attend this month's open meeting, please REPLY to me here [PRIVATE: REPLY/SENDER] or email me offline and we will send you the meeting Zoom link next Monday, just in time for the Tuesday presentation.

And if you enjoy perusing this listserv, one of the public services of SDFO, or would like to receive the monthly invitations to presentations as well as Paul Lehman's (incredible) monthly review of San Diego's rare birds in our newsletter, please consider supporting SDFO!  Dues are only $25 per calendar year and you may pay online or get more info about SDFO here: https://sandiegofieldornithologists.org/membership/

Happy birding and we'll hope to hear from you!

~Eve

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
