Subject: [Ohio-birds] HooverReservoir,2-12: waterfowl
The southern part of Hoover is opening up, with holes at several points
along the south shore despite the persistent cold weather. The holes near
the dam had Common & Hooded Mergansers, Redheads, Lesser Scaup, and
Mallards, while holes at Walnut St and the Maxtown ramp had those plus
Rec-br.Mergansers, Ruddies, Gadwalls, and Black Ducks. This next week may
be the best for divers, most of whom will move north as soon as northern
reservoirs open up.
