Subject: [sbcobirding] bald eagle sighting lompoc ocean park estuary
Spotted this bald eagle in Lompoc at the Ocean Park estuary this past January 9th 2025.  The road to Ocean Park was closed due to flooding of the road.  I parked by the gate and walked in with my dogs.  No humans whatsoever, I am truly grateful this must be why he was out there fishing. Got a few blurry pictures but it was definitely a baldy.  I didn't have my binoculars on me but the bill was hooked.  I still couldn't tell for sure but I am pretty positive.  Are bald eagles in this area?  I am new to this group and was looking for some expertise advice on the subject.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :)
