As most of you know, Merlin misidentifies quite a few attempts on any given bird walk. What I’ve noticed is that higher-pitched calls (not so much songs) are the hardest for the device. Er go, species like creepers and GC Kinglets may give Mr. Merlin more problems than most birds.
