Subject: [mou-net] Two superlative galleries of the best bird photos of 2024 (National Audubon Socy)
Bird lovers and conservationists

These are stunningly beautiful pictures. The "Top 100" actually does have 100 images taken around the world. For photographers, there is camera/lens specs below every image with the story of the picture.
One of the photos was taken at Wood Lake in Richfield and one was taken in Roseville. When you get to the end of that 2nd gallery, you will see more links to the 2023 "best" photos. But how much avian pulchritude can you process in one sitting?
PS Photo No. 99 of the 100 is a Murre from the Latrabjarg cliffs in Iceland. If you have been there or been to Iceland, the text is reminiscent.

Each year of the Audubon Photography Awards is exciting, but this one is especially celebratory: 2024 marks the 125th anniversary of Audubon magazine—and the 15th installment of our annual photo competition. Around 2,300 entrants from across the United States and Canada submitted more than 8,500 photographs and videos of birds feeding, fighting, mating, and making their way in the world.
