18 Red-tails 10 Kestrels- 3M/6F/1 UND 42 TVs4 BVs 7 Red-shoulders – 4A /3 IMM COMMENTS - Dead calm, 100% cloud cover, and "heavy air" likely played a role in reduced vulture numbers vs other years. Route takes in good views of Hanover quarries along Rt 94, a vulture "hotspot", and there were none seen there today. I'm almost sure that is a first for this long established route.
