I believe the warm weather pushed the gulls and mega quantities of ducks
off to the north again after this past weekend’s cold front pushed them
down here. The river was full of ducks and gulls after this weekend’s cold
front. Matt was fortunate to get that gull. It was a great find. After the
warm weather the river at Sunnymede this afternoon had very few ducks and
gulls.
As far as the chicken plant goes, the train brings and takes chicken
bi-products. It does block the road at the factory at times. But there is
another road just east of the factory next to the apartment complex that
will take you up and over the train track, getting you back into the park.
