*Feb. 1, 2025, is the deadline for submissions.*

*FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS*

*How do I submit my list totals?*
It's easy! You can submit your totals via an online form at
*https://forms.gle/3pnyn7jdB5nRqhRp9
<https://forms.gle/3pnyn7jdB5nRqhRp9>*. Follow the prompts for each type
of list.

*Why should I publicize my list totals?*
The "Birders' Lists" article traditionally allows Indiana birders to share
their listing milestones. You don't need to be a seasoned or
well-traveled birder to submit a list for this annual feature. Everyone is
encouraged to contribute their lists, large or small, local or otherwise.

*What kinds of list totals can I share?*
You may share totals from your life and year lists for the World, the North
America listing region, the American Birding Association (ABA) Area,
Indiana, Indiana Counties (2022 totals only), and your property with us. If
you keep track of an alternative list (e.g., zero-carbon, five-mile radius,
etc.), you can share it in the highlights section on the form's last page.

*What if I only want to share totals for one list?*
That's AOK. Feel free to share your totals for a category (or several
categories) that are most meaningful to you. You don't have to submit
totals for every type of list.

*What time period should my totals represent?*
The totals you provide should cover species added during the 2024 calendar
year (Jan. 1 – Dec. 31, 2024). The IAS only requires the number of birds
seen, not the species lists.

*I** would like to share a note about the birding milestones I achieved in
2024. Is this allowable?*
Yes! You can include written text about your birding highlights on the
form's last page under the "2024 HIGHLIGHTS" section. There is also a field
to upload one image (.JPG) representing a memorable sighting from the year.

*Do I need to be an Indiana Audubon Society (IAS) member to submit my
totals?*

Membership is encouraged! 🙂 If you are not already an IAS member, you can
join at indianaaudubon.org/membership. Your membership plays a crucial role
in supporting Indiana Audubon's mission, contributing to the conservation
and appreciation of birds and their habitats in the state.

*I have questions or feedback. Who should I contact?*

Questions about countable or review species, list types, and other topics
can be directed to <info...> or Savannah Bennett (
<savabenn...>), the compiler for this year's article.
