Sunday night between about 5:15 & 5:25 (ss 5:23) there were five Merlins seen at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines. There were 2 in separate locust trees near the top of the hill in Block H, 2 in the same locust tree about halfway up the hill in Block K, and one in the large English oak in Block 33D. There were also a couple crows perched at the top of trees from time to time, but they are darker, larger, and bulkier than Merlins, and have long, straight bills.
