I had an Osprey the other day at Virgin Creek, actively hunting along
the beach before heading back north - not sure how long it's been around
because I've been out of commission for weeks. There is a nest off Ward
Ave at the extreme south end. I haven't seen it carrying any nesting
material, but maybe others have. Did you catch Steve Hampton's Zoom talk
the other night through Peregrine Audubon? Really great talk about
species affected by Climate Change and how some species are nesting
earlier than normal.
