As some of you know Lamb Lake is large enough and deep enough that it doesn't totally freeze even with the current weather. Currently there are three holes in the ice of about 5-10 acres total. Usually these holes yield a good diversity of water birds with species of duck goose and swan be the norm. Not this year. We have limited diversity as the list below shows. One of the holes has overnight primarily geese that leave in the AM and return at night. The other two holes have birds 24/7 as far as I can tell.
