Today around 12:40 I was surprised to see two Sage Thrashers and a Vesper Sparrow near the power box outside the driveway into the SANDAG building at the north end of La Media Road in Otay Mesa. The irrigation seems to be stuck on and there is standing water around the landscaping. There is lots of good habitat inside the airport fence so the birds may be moving around. Sage Thrashers last seen together on the ground between the two fences on the north side of the SANDAG driveway entrance.
