Subject: Red Slough Bird Survey - January 15 (belated report)

Somehow this didn't make it on the list serve last week so it is a week late:

It started off cold (upper 20's), calm, and partly cloudy turning mostly clear and mild (mid 50's) on the bird survey today . 55 species were found. The Cinnamon Teal is still around and it looks like at least one Common Gallinule and the White Ibis' are going to remain for the whole winter unless next weeks arctic blast pushes them south.
