Dear Carolinabirders,
First, I want to thank those who attended the recent CBC meeting in Carteret County and birded the area with an intensity worthy of John Fussell. Loved seeing all the NC Rare Bird Alerts rolling in, and the wonderfully diverse checklists!
Second, I would very much appreciate advice to keep hands and feet warm on those frosty forays along our coastline in the wintertime.
I'm particularly interested in gloves/mittens, boots / socks, but ANY suggestions to ward off frostbitten misery are welcome.
I guess just use your judgment about whether to respond privately to me, or to the group. There are likely others who would appreciate the advice.
