- Comments: "Likely a continuing bird but this bird was found 0.6 miles from the bird seen last week . First seen running, similar to Mockingbird but heavily streaked below, pale iris, photos. Seen by supply barn near Windmill Canyon entrance."

- Comments: "small sparrow, rufous crown and dark kin through eye. Photos. Birds moved off in well spaced groups of 5-10 providing a decent estimate of number."

Male brilliant lemon yellow below with black hood white and yellow wing bars. Black tip to tail when seen from below. Female dull yellow with grayish hood and wing bars. They were mobbing some sort of bird of prey which flew off. (34.4605939, -119.9230165)"
