Subject: [CT Birds] Rough-legged Hawk Woodbury
At about noon on McVeigh Road in Woodbury I had a light morph adult female
Rough-legged Hawk. This is near the Watertown line. Bird was first seen
perched in typical Rough-legged style on the very insubstantial topmost
branches of a large deciduous tree. It eventually flew, allowing good
dorsal and ventral views of the body, wings and tail.
