Hey, folks! I wanted to share with everyone that our mini-series, Young,
Gifted and Wild About Birds, is starting back up this Thursday at 7p and
it's definitely going to be an interesting one.

In this lecture, Dr. Morgan Tingley will discuss the myriad ways that fire
has shaped the ecology of birds and how the shifting nature of fire is
impacting biodiversity. By learning how species are currently responding to
a rapidly changing world, we are offered a glimpse into what our
increasingly flammable future will hold.

1/23/25 at 7 pm- "After the Fire: Birds in the Pyrocene," a report from the
L.A. wildfires by Morgan Tingley Ph.D. Via Zoom.

A former UConn professor, Morgan is now Professor and Vice Chair,
Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, UCLA. The presentation is
part of CT Audubon's Young, Gifted & Wild About Birds series.
