We had about 15 people participating. The weather was spectacular and the crowds were light. We had a total of 53 species. The highlight was an American Bittern that flew right past the Group while out on the boardwalk and perched in the reeds in the open for five minutes.
For anyone interested, there is a giant dead gray whale beached about .5 mi south of the rivermouth.
