I checked for the White-fronted Goose that has been reported a few times but dipped again this frigid morning. Saw one Cackling Goose again.
I also checked the fish hatchery but only saw Canadas & one Great Blue Heron.
On the drive there, along Cristland Hill Rd, there was a large flock of Com Grackles in a corn stubble field—at least 50 birds. Unfortunately, there was traffic & no place to pull off so I couldn’t scan through the group to see if any Rusty’s were mixed in. The sun was showing off their iridescence well.
