Folks,
I was sitting outside this morning by the fire watching Oatmeal and her friends (deer), and the diversity of birds, and I thought, why not invite a few friends over for a morning of birds and coffee by the fire?
Ryan and Tony will be here with me - why would I do this without them......and so if the interest is there, please let me know. I will supply the coffee and warm fire, along with a multitude of winter bird species. I'm currently hosting a Baltimore Oriole, several Purple Finches, a Red-breasted Nuthatch, and a very cooperative Brown Creeper. A Fox Sparrow has joined the group, and typically I'm seeing approximately 35 species before noon.
The date we're looking at is *WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29th*, and I'm only reserving 6-8 spots. I'm not charging for this, and we will start at 7:00am and end whenever you wish.
I'm thinking that this crazy cold weather won't last forever, even though I LOVE IT! We will be here no matter what the weather brings. We're going to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count in mid-February, so this will be a good look at what is around.
Please let me know if you are interested, and I'll reserve your spot.
