Hi Brooke,
It looks like a candidate for Harlani (adult or juv), but we cannot rule
out juvenile dark morph calurus here and I get a juv calurus feel on this
bird. I would like to see the tail. Harlani will have banded outer
primaries, which I am not seeing on this bird. But that could be lighting
and photo quality. I would also like to see the tail better.
With these photos I would leave it as dark morph RTHA.
