I was a Ed Levin, Sandy Wool Lake, yesterday morning and saw a buteo flying
that seemed a bit different. I’ve attached some fairly distant photos, and
they are not all that good. Is this a juvenile Dark Morph Red-tailed Hawk
or possibly a Juvenile Harlan’s Hawk? …and why? It seems black-and-white
enough for Harlan’s, but I have little experience with that morph.
