Sherry Leonardo's report of Trumpeter Swans at Longview Lake marina sent me scurrying there about 4 p.m. to get them as a year bird. The number had grown to 9! They were on the shore opposite the boat docks and a bit east, snoozing with heads tucked. No scope necessary this time for a good view.
