Subject: [CT Birds] Coastal Center
1/15- sunny, 28F, very windy, high tide, frozen along shoreline but open
water with white caps on marsh.
Many visitors today. We could hear the wind howling but there were still
photographers out there.
Viewed from inside building:
On marsh: 60 Canada geese, 4 Bufflehead, 6 Gadwall, 39 American Black
ducks, 1 American wigeon hanging out with the Black ducks, 6 Mute swans, 1
Bald eagle flyover.
Very little activity on the immediate grounds & feeders: 1 Cardinal, 1
Tufted titmouse and 1 mourning dove.
