Yesterday, Jan. 13, there was a field crammed with Sandhill Cranes in the Ewing bottoms, near Brownstown. Easily 1,000 K in a field at the intersection of County Roads 300 N and 225 W, near the old water company building. There were small groups in other fields in the area and small flocks in the air, but the mass gathering was in that one field.
