Subject: [cayugabirds-l] Monitoring Prothonotary Warbler Nest Boxes
Hello Cayuga Birders,

Anyone is invited to join me Thursday January 16th at 10am to monitor and
clean out our Prothonotary Warbler nest boxes in Lighthouse Point Woods.
Meet at the Newman Golf Course building at the west end of Willow Avenue in
Ithaca at 10am. Please send me an email ahead of time if possible so I can
know to look for you.

Dress for the weather. Bring a small, flat-head screw driver if you have
one.
With the lake level drawn down for the winter, most boxes will be
accessible from dry land. The few that have been placed in deeper water
areas should be easily accessible because of ice (that was the case when I
did a recon two days ago).

Thanks
Jody
