Thanks, Zach! Your second email noting 303 Wilbur Ave. in Greenwich got us moving on the quest. As of 12:30 this afternoon, it was still there. As we drove south on Wilbur, we came across a few cars and a cluster of birders training their scopes and long-lens cameras toward the field on the left. After parking and walking back, I asked the nearest guy, "Is it here?" "Oh yes," he said. He offered me a look through his scope that was trained permanently on the sought-after goose. There it was! What a thrill! I went and got my own scope and was able to scan the flock and find the bird myself (very satisfying!). I was also thrilled to get a good photo with my Canon super zoom camera.
Zach, my wife and I are indebted to you for your precision directions. Thank you so much!
