Feeders and backyard habitat in Historic Broadmoor Neighborhood - Little Rock were very busy yesterday with usual suspects. Was surprised on walk around Broadmoor Lake though with the appearance of 6 Ring-billed ducks. This is a POA 16 acre lake, across University from UA-Little Rock. Lesser Scaups, Mallards, herons, Canada Geese, and occasionally grebes, are usual occupants. Walkways into park from Belmont, Lakeshore and Berkshire Drives. (Don't block driveways when parking!) A natural surface walkway easement goes around the lake, be careful of tree roots.
