Flight style and overall body shape/size very similar to the turkey vultures. Broad white band on the tail, black head with bright yellow bill. I am familiar with the species from northern Arizona."

Very brief views of a tiny brown, round, stubby-tailed wren creeping very sneakily, mouselike, through the dense brush. Recorded distinctive angry call notes, kind of like a Song Sparrow, dissimilar to Pacific. Great bike bird"

Gray face; yellow eye; brown cap, back, primaries and upper tail; white breast and belly with long brown streaks; white vent, undertail, and wingbars. Appeared from densest part of hedge N of blue trashcan and wandered south under the hedge to about the volleyball court, where I lost sight of it. Bad pictures that I won't use to sully Macauley library."

- Comments: "First found on January 4, 2025, by Alex Castelein and Max Laubstein. Seen today foraging on the ground with a large flock of White-crowned Sparrows at the West Campus Stables near the northeast corner of the riding arena. The Lark Bunting was here: (34.4140292, -119.8703758), and we viewed it from this location: (34.4143390, -119.8699942).
This was a stocky, large-headed, brown streaky bird with a thick two-toned silvery bill, and a long white patch along the folded wing. It had a white throat bordered by thick dark lateral throat-stripes, and was heavily streaked on the flanks and breast."
