It's true that they are not common, but I had the good fortune to see two
different Merlins during the Coastal CBC on Saturday. The first was at the
Tustin Legacy Park (Tustin) around 9 a.m. The second was on a light post in
a parking lot at Orange Coast College (Costa Mesa) around 2:20 p.m.
