- Comments: "Continuing: we visited yesterday and mistook a very very similar looking juvenile RTHA for this individual. Compared with yesterdays observation, the juvenile SWHA has much darker breast and leg feathers, brighter yellow cere and legs/feet, darker colored eyes, more crisp and lighter facial markings, and less white speckling in the wing coverts. Notably pointy wings compared with RTHA while in flight. We noticed a rump patch when the bird took off from its post. Seen just west of the small wooden barn/ shack along the fence line. Photos."

- Comments: "There were three candidates at this location at the corner of Simmler/Elkhorn. Field marks include thin and weak malars resembling those on the Sagebrush Sparrows I recently saw outside the visitor center at Red Rock State Park in Nevada. While the malars aren’t as pale as recent photos from T.E. at this location, they are withered and incomplete-looking and narrow, as some of those in Nevada I saw (happy to send a comparison photo). The backs are darkly striped throughout. And overall, the birds appeared pale and slightly larger than darker and more compact Bell’s Sparrows seen throughout the day. Photos"
