19 birders participated in SJ Audubon's beginning birding walk at Lodi Lake this morning. We totaled 54 species inside and outside the nature area with highlights including: 4 Virginia Rails and a Sora calling from along the river along with a Phainopepla (found behind the boat ramp), feeding near 130+ Cedar Waxwings. Overall a great morning of birding.
