Subject: [sbcobirding] Ocean Park
All,

I have dropped by Ocean Park the last two days as I have had work up in Lompoc. The river mouth is now fully blocked and water levels have risen a bit. Some previously unreported birds have been a adult male Goldeneye, a Horned Grebe and an adult Bald Eagle - presumably the bird that showed up last winter. A couple of Snow Geese continue and have been hanging out in the gull/pelican flock on the beach. No sign of the Long-tailed Duck either day.

The gull flock has been less interesting, probably due to increased disturbance now the mouth is fully shut.
