Subject: [sbcobirding] Tuesday Birds
Mark Bright and I scouted the SB Zoo this morning. Overall numbers of birds
were low, as was diversity. There are usually decent numbers of sparrows
there, but besides a very few White-crowned and lots of Songs, we struck
out. No Lincoln's, Fox, or Golden-crowned. The only warbler of note was a
Wilson's. We rescued a dullish morning by finding a female Orchard Oriole,
which I trust will be easily found on count day.

The Chestnut-sided Warbler remains by the carousel building at Chase Palm
Park, and the young male Vermilion Flycatcher continues nearby at the mouth
of Mission Creek.

Love and Peace.
