This may have already been ebirded (and I don't care to check), but an adult Little Blue Heron was roosting next to the yellow foam barrier near the tide gates at the far end of Wintersburg channel less than an hour ago. As for my weekly goldeneye count, six female Common Goldeneyes (3 adults and 3 immatures) were present today, while five (3-4 adults and 1-2 immatures) were in the lower Santa Ana River yesterday. Nine Yellow-crowned Night-Herons were roosting in Victoria Pond.
