I arrived here at 2:45. Luckily, I entered Scarboro Pond at the stone bridge, for that is where the Cackling Goose was. Thus, it took a mere twenty minutes to find this bird. A wild guess is five hundred geese in the pond, and two hundred on the golf course near the pond
Cackling Goose 1 continuing for perhaps more than one week Canada Goose 700 wild guess American Black Duck 60 Red-tailed Hawk 3 same patch of sky Hairy Woodpecker 1 Red-headed Woodpecker 1 perhaps three weeks ; same spot as usual next to east end of pond; vocal American Crow 100 guess Golden-crowned Kinglet 2 in mixed flock
