Your estimation of the events seems to complete the puzzle Erin. I guess any animal that doesn’t run, swim or fly away from any human it sees or hears is now fair game for elimination due to the extreme risks posed to us all if in their presence.

The Milan Police dept Facebook page turned off any comments on the post regarding the turkey. I left a message for the Conservation Officer in that district and I'm reaching out to others who know about this. It's very very upsetting.
