Subject: It seems that the avian variant of the bird flu is more likely to cause a pandemic than the variant currently infecting dairy herds
As birders we need to be alert to any sick/dead birds we see and if you get
a nasty respiratory bug, don't hesitate to see a doctor and tell them you
are a birder. After all, the 1918 flu got its legs in Kansas so we don't
need to be the crossover source twice!
