I went in search for my neighborhood Snow goose and didn't find it at the Sam Tomas Expressway ponds this evening. I did happened upon two domestic type Swan Geese. They were entirely white and had the distinct knob at the base of their bills. Ebird decided that a nondescript domestic goose is bland but specifically domestic type Swan Geese were rare and the first time reported. Here is a picture I took of the pair.
Do not disclose information that identifies the location of nesting birds of any species, to minimize stress on the nesting birds and the risk of vandalism or abuse.
