Subject: [NEBirds] Short-billed Gull, Gosper county
This morning on my way to North Platte to see the Barrow's Goldeneye, I
stopped at Johnson lake in Gosper county.

Among the hundreds on gulls sitting in the beach, I came across an
individual who looked a bit smaller, with a petite bull. It turned out to
be a short-billed Gull! I quickly snapped a few pictures as my fingers were
going numb in the morning cold, and got back to my car.

The bird was on the "beach" created by the low water levels on the
southeast shore.
