Today's special guest was Charlotte Catalano, returning home to Milwaukee
after a fall job raptor banding at Cape May and visiting Waggoner's Gap,
where she was the official counter for 2 previous years. Charlotte spotted
Golden Eagle #3 trying to sneak past us on the right.
*Weather:*
Wind WNW mostly 6-12 mph, sky mostly to partly cloudy, several periods of
snow flurries, temp -5:-2C Wind was not as strong as the forecast.
*Predictions:*
Saturday's predicted wind is WSW 8-11 mph - if this forecasts holds in the
morning, this will be a day off; Sunday - predicted wind WSW/W 10-13 mph -
if this forecasts holds, this will be a watch day; Monday-Wednesday are
looking like days off; Thursday's forecast currently looks promising, the
only such day within the next week
